A home visit is not for everyone, and we will always be honest about that. Here is how the two compare.
A home visit is ideal when…
- Getting to a clinic is difficult — through age, illness, disability, dementia or severe anxiety
- You would be far more comfortable treated in familiar surroundings
- You are in a care home or hospital
A clinic may be better when…
- You need advanced imaging or treatment that relies on fixed equipment
- You can travel easily and have no barriers to a normal appointment
